New brake blocks

Just put 4 new brake blocks on my road bike everything ok lined up with the rims and checked repeatedly, might sound daft, but my two blocks at the back are not in the same position each side (at different heights) but are definitely lined up ok on the rim. Not really bothered two hoots as long as they are doing the job,but would of thought they would have been in almost identical positions ?

If the blocks are in the same position in the slots you can re-arrange the different parts of the brake by adjusting the small grub screw on top, if your brakes are the same as these Btwin brakes:

Is the wheel in straight?

Were the last blocks even, if so try first, recentering the wheel, cleaning cables and mech or check the pivot screw (it may need tightened) before fiddling with the brake balance.
