Recieved good advice about the choosing best between Carrera's from Halfords and the Btwin from Decathlon. Ended up buying the Vulcan with discs, for the boss and I got a Rockrider 5.3 to follow her around. One gripe with Halfords was that we turned up to pick it up only to be told it was not assembled yet, and on our second run, the pedel fell off the 5.3!
Apart from that both bikes are great! Looking for gentle off road routes around the Stockport / Manchester area at the moment. Reckon our max range is a couple of hours as long as there is a pub along the way. Any tips?
And what is it with the bugs in the eyes, mouth and up the nose, thing??
