New Bikes Today!

Well, after almost a year of loving road cycling out here, I decided it was time to get a MTB. So, ended up getting a Trek Marlin 29er for myself and my wife got a Specialized Myka 29er. I can't wait to get out for a quick spin after work tomorrow!

The only "MTB" I ever owned before this was a cheapy department store bike that I had for 15 years. Worked well for riding around the neighborhood, but that was all I used it for. I donated it before we moved last year. I can't wait to hit some trails out here!

Nice! I can't believe at my age how excited I am about picking up myTrek Cobia 29 on Thursday coming. Loving the road bike but want to do some fastish offroading close to home.

Cube Reaction Pro 2012 - great price but have been waiting for C2W voucher, looks like next week now.

Nice bike. I had to wait about 3 weeks for mine in the end, the delays are apparently usually within your company finance dept!

Well that's a rubbish pic... Doesn't show any of the abuse I put the bike through. Headed out for a road ride and couldn't resist going across and around the common, got absolutely soaked!

Unusual shade of blue - like it.

Most Cube bikes look the part to me.

Yeah, it was black with red or this blue. Not a big red fan so I went with true blue instead.
