Righty,

New Bike time........ yay..........

Not for me...booooo

My better half has decided that her 'old' but perfectly OK Apollo MTB BSO is uncomfortable - i.e. she want's something more upright - blame Sky ride for that and her looking at 'other ladies' on various bikes....

So, looking for a ladies hybrid. So far Spesh Globe, Trek FX and the Viva Juliette (in Evans on sale) look likely candidates (from my point of view).........

Anything else worth considering. Budget - upto £500-£600 Most likely getting a tag along also.

Best thing might be to pop to Evans at Chill Factor e and she can test crash ride the bikes in the car park ? They have a sale on and quite a few bikes with £100 off.

if it's just for 'pootling' around how about a Pashley? When I pop down to The Hub bike shop in Sandgate for a cuppa & chat they have these on display. I think they are works of art really, especially the G'vnor (no good to the Missus I know) They also have Globe bikes with front or rear racks with integral lights (Globe Haul I think) that would be handy for when you send her out to buy your beers :cycle:

Ordered the Pinnacle Stratus 3.0 Womens hybrid - nice looking bike, lots of gears for my better half to get confused with (she doesn't do gears).

It's in the store, but has to be built (elf and safety), but we've ordered a tag along too, so that will be next week - will collect both then.
