New bike rattling gears

So I bought a new bike (£800) for my commute to work. Rode it once to work and back and 3 or 4 of my 18 gears rattled and sounded like they weren't 'in' correctly. Took bike in to lbs and asked them to tweak.

Just got home from 2nd ride and I'd say 2 or 3 gears are still rattling.

Now I've had bikes for years and know this to be fairly common on my bikes but they were a fraction of the cost and not brand spanking new

So I need to know which is it?
A) I am being a perfectionist and some gears don't slide in perfectly. Deal with it
B) no, this is not normal and I should take the bike in again
C) other

When you say rattling, do you mean that they have not been indexed properly? ie sound's like the gears want to change up or down.

I would go with the above, i recently installed a new shifter and after a week i had to reindex to allow for cable stretch.
