Yes they do, I usually use KMC links on Shimano chains.

Sorry, mistake there. It's a KMC chain and Sram links which will be fine - I think that it's only Campagnolo chains that need specific links.

@Steeler I ended up having to buy a few other bits last night, my 8 speed chain stock was low, my bell gave up the ghost, my bottle cages are broken and there was a few other bits I needed so I ordered a 9 speed chain and quick link in the process.
