I'm looking, in the near future (spring time) to upgrade my frame to a Planet X pro carbon. For £299 it seems a bargain.
Anyway, I've eyed up the geometry on their website and can't seem to make heads nor tails of it.
From what I can see, the head tube is slightly shorter, the top tube longer and the seat tube is 40mm shorter than my bike. Which confuses my brain. How does this work? It seems a weird shape and too small for me!
Anyway, here's the pages with geometry on.
My original RT-58 which fits me like a glove: http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBPXRT...id=CPXztoGho8cCFUUcGwodr2UMXQ#CBPXRT58ALUAPEX
The potential upgrade - pro carbon:http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBPXSLPVEL2/planet-x-pro-carbon-campagnolo-veloce-colours-road-bike
The guys have said it is more 'racey' which I assume means I'll have to adopt a slightly more aggressive position. Which I'm fine with.
I'm on the large(56) RT-58 and would assume I'd be on the large(52) on the pro carbon.
