Hi folks, Firstly I wasn't sure where to post this, so apologies to the Mods if I should have put this somewhere else.

I built up a bike last year based on a Carrera Virtuoso and I'm thinking of selling it but TBH I don't really know what it's worth.

This is the thread that describes the build. https://www.cyclechat.net/ I will apologise in advance for the size of the pics.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why not put it up for auction on E-Bay or similar? After all it is worth whatever someone will pay.

I was after a ball park figure before I decided what to do with it. If it's not worth much then I will probably keep it until my son grows into it.
TBH if it wasn't for my wife nagging me that I have too many bikes and that they are taking up too space in the garage then I wouldn't consider selling it but a new bike at xmas has more or less made this one redundant.

Mrs AF always nags me about bikes, I find turning the volume up on the TV helps

Mark you can go onto ebay, press the advanced search button, and tick the completed listings box, and search for Carrera Virtuoso to give you some idea of actual deals done. I can see 13 successful sales, from £50 to £220 or so, with the mean at around £170. Since yours is nice, I would have thought you should be able to get a good price with good photos and description. I believe a 10 day listing listed on a Thursday evening ending on a Sunday evening is advantageous. An answer to the nagging is the price will likely improve when the weather improves...
