Hi,
I work as a night porter in a hotel in Cornwall. I work 4 nights a week from Friday evening to Tuesday morning. I don't commute as I live- in. I tried several plans but nothing works for me in the long run. I tried to cycle after work but I am often to tired to do a proper job (the job as a night porter is NOT easy as it involve a lot of cleaning). I tried to cycle before work but often I just can't sleep directly after work. I normally end up cycling Thursday and Friday and that's not enough to get fitter.
Please, if you can advice me how I can get more training in I would be very happy.
(sorry about my grammar, I am native Swedish)

Do you have a gym nearby?

I did spin classes last winter and could not believe how hard and how effective they were. They kept my weight down during a period when I usually gain and also kept me motivated so that when I could get out I really wanted to, even though I was sometimes tired.

Exercising with other people is so much easier than getting a turbo and finding reasons NOT to use it.

Good luck anyway.

I have a 10 second commute to a gym
