Need a comfortable road saddle

Presently I'm using a Fizik Arione Saddle. Which in itself is a great saddle and well made. However I have a groin problem and need a road saddle that offers max comfort. Any recommendation ??

This is a difficult question to answer. Even the most experienced LBS gaffer will err from giving suggestions. All he can tell you is how many he sells of each model and his customer's reactions.
Its a very personal thing. One thing is for certain though, if you can put up with extaordinary pain for 500 or so miles, a leather saddle will shape itself to your butt, and thereafter will be YOUR personal chair.

What he said.

I've got an Arione on my commuter (v.good saddle) and a Toupe on my Roubaix, and despite its looks it is the most comfortable saddle I've used.

Cheers,
Shaun

The Brooks breaking in process can be wildly exaggerated.

Many riders (and I'm one) have a naturally Brooks shaped bum and the saddles are comfy straight from the box.

I'm probably going to regret asking this, but what kind of trouble are you experiencing?
