Anyone else going to the Cycleshow in Birmingham this week / weekend?
I'm lucky enough to be going on the trade day.

Unfortunately I have no money for N+1 or anything else for that matter, but it is still nice to look

I too have a trade ticket - they keep on sending them every year - but IMHO the show is so poor that it's not worth the cost of getting there. All bling and posing + electric bikes. Not REAL cycling.

Me and Mrs SG went down today. She was looking at is for the opportunity to speak to various vendors and got most, if not all, of her queries answered.

I too found it usefull as I got my first opportunity to try out an Ultegra Di2 equiped bike on the Shimano stand before I forked out for the upgrade. Underwhelmed is the first word that comes to mind. The shifting felt sluggish and harsh compared to my mechanical Ultegra 6800. So a trip out saved me spending £600 plus on and upgrade I'd likely has disliked.
