Near miss with a wardrobe

Riding North on the A1073 towards Crowland this evening, hear an engine approaching behind me, then this strange sliding thump sort-of noise. Volkswagen Caddy with a wardrobe lashed onto the load deck starts to overtake, slidey-thumpey noise sounds again. I look over my shoulder and see a single-door wardrobe sliding sideways along the road about 20 feet behind me . I stop, matey in the VW stops and backs up, without making any sort of 'sorry for scaring the crap out of you' eye contact, so I thought 'sod you then! and carried on riding. Definitely a first for me

I know i take a change of clothes to work, but a full wardrobe is a bit much

No clothes fell out, or stowaway assylum seekers, boggerts, agrophobes, sexually active couples or large amounts of cash.
