Narrow platform pedals - any reccomendations

Hi all,

I have a new recumbent bike (Encore Schlitter), and as I mostly ride in trainers, immediately put my favourite platform pedals on it - really grippy and wide orange nukeproof ones that I have on both my upright bikes.

Unfortunately the bike build means the pedals overlap the wheel. I thought I could manage it, but took them of when I hit the floor on a sharp U-turn! I've put the ones it came with back on, a small, lightweight cage pedal. They are effectively one sided though and not too grippy, particularly given the position. (I'll be some time before I'm ready for clipless on this.)

I may look at crank size, but in the meantime, I wonder if anyone could recommend some narrow, grippy, 2
sided pedals, please?

Thanks
James

What width are the ones it came with?

Shimano flats are somewhere halfway between both. The footprint not as large as regular platform pedals but they are slightly larger than standard.

I've concluded platforms are out, and instead are discovered Foot Jaws cage pedals, which looks nice and grippy, and quite long as well as narrow.
