I am running some 32's on my Kaffenbach.(not necessarily the perfect cross bike but it was meant as a roughstuff bike) Coming to the conclusion it's not really the frame I need as they are desperately close to the rear triangle and suspect that come the summer and all that mud, they will begin clogging up. Just wondering what the options are. Apart from selling the Kaff that is. Which I might do.

I think you're going to struggle with any tyre in really muddy conditions. The Kaffenbach simply hasn't got the clearance needed for mud-baths.

Last year I found it nearly impossible to complete a CX race on my mountain bike due to mud clearance issues. Despite deliberately running the really muddy parts I still found myself having to stop and pull handfulls of mud out of the way of the wheels.
