I was given the bike in the pictures a few years ago and have not used it. I am thinking of putting it on eBay for sale. Any help on what the model is or what price I should be asking would be welcome.

@Barthelme i would name it as a very nice Peugeot
Just check that seat post is not seized in the frame
As for value i would suggest up to £150 but dependant on exact model and your location
Its a tough time selling retro bikes just now

Rear derailleur looks like a RD-1050... if so, that puts it 87-89 sort of area assuming it's original (looks about right I'd say). Try searching online for Peugeot catalogues from that era and you may get lucky and find it...

Biggsy's figure is about right if it's in okay condition. As he says loosen off the seat bolt and make sure it turns, this is a main concern of buyers of vintage bikes. If it doesn't it decreases the value considerably so make a point of it in your ad. It's a good size too so that will help, don't forget to mention this too.

My last Peugeot I bought was 531 but a professional model with full 105 and I paid £100.

Hopefully this helps towards your decision.

Keep it until next June and will likely make 120 - 150 if all working.
