Mystery victorian bicycle bell please help identify

I recently scored this beautiful Victorian bike bell at a tag sale here in Connecticut. It is a heavy cast with sharp deep detail of Mercury wings, floral scrolls, and a wheel. Nickel plated. I only found the bell. The mechanism has been lost in time. Any help in identifying would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The wings and the radial spokes are not dissimilar to those on the CTC winged wheel, which dates back to the end of the 19th century.

But I imagine if it was actually CTC related it would have the winged wheel itself, not just the elements of the design rearranged.

It's a lovely thing tho.

Thank you for the prompt lead. Looks like it is made by the Bristol Bell Co., Model 6B. Made in you guessed it, Bristiol CT.. This ones probably never left CT.. Late Victorian, like I presumed. Thanks again!

I wish I could find another mechanism.. Even if it is not a Bristol Bell co. mechanism. In fact it's possible the Bristol Bell Co. outsourced the mechanisms. I wonder
