My work cycle rides have come to an end :(

I am not sure what to do now as my work's tuesday evening cycle rides have come to an end due to the college breaking up for the summer but I still have to work boo hoo. I could join a local bike group I have looked on the internet and found the Norwich Amateur Bicycle Club but worried that if I join them for a evening bike ride that I would be the only one riding a mountain bike and not a road bike. Has any one else been on an club bike ride and been the only person on a mountain bike?

I also noticed the Horse and Dray on Ber Street are advertising a cycling club - "Dray City Rollers" (http://horseanddray.co.uk/)

I've not had dealings with either, I'm not committed enough to turn up regularly for a club. Plus I find riding with others hard on fixed.

I'm assuming you cycled as part of a group, surely there must be others that would be willing to do an evening ride? If you don't mind sticking to roads, I'm sometimes about on a Tuesday evening.

I think Norwich ABC can cater more for social riding. Also, Rosy Lee's tearooms in Loddon is now running rides on Friday evenings.

Thanks guys may have to try the Norwich ABC as it has a ride leaving at the cellar house in Cringleford on Monday which is closer to my work. I just feel quite nervous rolling up on a mountain bike. If I do go you never know I may end up getting a road bike too lol.
