My SPD-SL cleat bolts have snapped after 150 miles.

I purchased some shimano 105 pedals 2 weeks ago. I fitted the pedals and the cleats to some brand new shimano shoes I bought at the same time (different shop).
I fitted the cleats and have ridden around 150 miles but 2 of the bolts on the right foot have sheered off losing the rectangular parts that hold the screw to the shoe.
Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase the bolts and the little rectangular pieces of metal too as I think that will be cheaper than paying the shipping of sending the pedals back.
I could also change cleats to some red ones I have been eying up but I was hoping to get more than 2 weeks out of the new ones.

Wiggle should do the trick http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-spd-sl-cleats-1/

Make sure you tighten the bolts up tightly and check them every few uses as they can come loose which is potentially dangerous.

edit: I just noticed you only need the screws, you can maybe pick some up from your LBS for a small fee or free if theyre nice ;)

I would telephone/email the people who sold you the shoes or pedals and explain the problem politely. They may well send you a replacement without any quibbling. Companies are getting much better at treating their customers well these days.

It's worth a try anyway. Good luck.

Its the screws and 1 of the square things too. Otherwise I have found Screws. I will probably order some zero float cleats to give them a try. I will however give the shop a ring.

thanks
