well quite a lot haha. I mean bikes have varying geometry etc for different brands, ok it'll probably be marginal but that makes all the difference especially when you want to put nearly £1000 down on a bike.

No sorry. I totally question the value of a ten minute test ride of a bike in it's shop form. Let's be honest how long does any bike stay the way it was first put together? We all customise the kit and position to a certain extent. Look at the geometry of the frame by all means, that will be more useful to establishing if it's the kind of bike you want.

But it's your money dude, I was just trying to show how much further it can go.

Ok, it's £59 more, but it's one of the best all round MTBs at any price. It uses the same frame as the X0 so as bits wear out you got a platform worthy of upgrading.
