My "new " winter commuter n+1

Picked this bike up last week off fleabay for the extortionate amount of £ 40.

Giant Iguna rigid MTB with acera groupset circa 1996 as far as i have been able to work out , guy selling it is a car mechanic that does bikes up so it runs sweetly and all i have to do is change the tyres for some semi slicks, bung a rack ,lights and mudguards and i am all set for the weather
The only thing wrong with the bike is the cover for the left hand gear shifter is missing , it does not affect shifting and i can soon make a new one from some clear plastic.

Very tidy - more so than what I paid £32 for recently... but then I wanted something that looks not worth nicking - which this is not!

All ready for winter duties now

I am still deciding on whether to keep the flats , get some half toe clips or look on ebay for some single sided spds that i can use the flats when its really icy .
