Took her out on Saturday for a test run and blitzed a pb on a hill that i've been struggling on with my old steely, moved from 10 to 8 position and wasn't giving it 100% either! ooosh!

Back in the day BMC stood for British Motor Corporation a name associted with poor workmanship, long tea breaks and strikes. That thought still stays with me today, it's an age thing! But your bike looks like a fine machine. Is it carbon or alloy frame? You can always give us your old steely!

How does the ride feel compared with steel?
Ohhh she feels lovely, feels much lighter, and faster and quite a lively ride also having the gears up on the handle bars is life changing!!!!
I'm changing gear much more often especially up hills, I'm also beating pb's without really trying!!!
BTW It's an Ali frame, only downside is I'm going to use it for sportives and commuting but my old crud2 mud guards don't fit as hardly no clearance even with 23s on, so have just ordered one than fits to the seat post!
Really looking forward to putting a few miles in on her
