Hi all,

I picked up this Cannondale frame this morning and it's absolutely mint. I spent the rest of the day taking all the bits off my Giant and transferring them on to the 'Dale and this was the result. I'll be off out for a ride in the morning but first impressions are 'very nice'. It's definitely lighter than the Giant by about half a kilo but I think the main difference will be in the stiffness particularly in the bottom bracket area.

I shall probably change a couple of things, maybe go to a 50 tooth outer chainring and keep the 39 inner. I like to pedal so I think it will make it more 'usable'. I may well change the saddle for a lighter one and will probably make it a white and red one (tart!) which means I'd have to change the bar tape to white as well!!.

Graham

PS: My Giant FCR2 frame is now completely stripped and available to buy if anyone's interested! PM me for details.

Hi Ben,

It's a 54cm frame (centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube), 6061 Aluminium with Carbon forks and includes a Cane Creek headset and seat clamp. It's in outstanding condition and would build into a very good winter bike. If you PM me your email address I'll send some pictures over to you.
