It's a Raleigh, but what model? Royale?
It looks nice, and you have changed the bars for flat ones.
What year and spec.is it.

It sure is. I bought it with original drop bars and a megga hard saddle. I think it is now the most comfortable bicycle I have ever ridden. So pleased with it.

Not sure of the year. Would the frame number tell us? Shimano biopace crankset. 170 cranks. 6 speed cassette. Shimano 105 hubs and Mavic Rims. Down tube changers. Continental city rider tyres. Just a brilliant, comfortable bike. My wife rides the Raleigh Touriste in almost the same colour.

Looks like a Royal, Raleigh take on the Dawes Galaxy. 80's I guess? Yep frame number should give the year.

Nope. Still have my Saracen. Did end to end and C to C on that.

I think that's one of the later Royals - 86/7? Fantastic condition - looks great!

Just managed to decipher our Raleigh Bicycle frames. My Royal was made in October 1980 No letter indication for either Worksop or Nottingham. My wife's Touriste was made February 1988 and has a letter C prefix?
