My New Bike

As some will know i have been looking at some new bikes in the last few months.

To cut a long story short, yesterday i rode a Cannondale SuperSix Ultegra Di2 (2012 model) and it felt right in so many ways. Really difficult decision because i had my heart set on a Specialized, but the price of the Cannondale, the looks and the almost perfect position / feel as soon as i got on it swayed it.

Slept on the decision overnight, clicked on the pic this morning and phoned the dealer.

Been out for a quick 22 mile and loved it.

Need to get and fit some decent pedals, not sure what ones yet.

Worth every penny

Really like it to be honest, scared witless it will all go wrong, but once i got used to it, well its so simple to use.

As its got a 12-25 cassette on it will need a 11-28 so i hope that is an easy job of new cassette and chain (i will ask question of the Di2 thread)

...scared witless it will all go wrong...

Don't forget that if it detects a pot-hole it might go into protection mode and will need to be reset. The instructions are in Mr.H Di2 thread if you need them.

To be honest it was a really tough decision, but the price (trust me i got a bargain) sort of sealed the deal and having the Di2 well, its gotta be done.

Well that the new clipless pedals fitted and it now has a 11-28 cassette rather than the 12-25 it came with.

22 mile tweek n twiddle ride and all things seem good.

Not sure about the saddle yet, i am giving it time to bed in.
