Here's a great idea if you're stuck for the next birthday or Xmas: being permanently cold Mrs RR is a big glove wearer but she has long fingers so finds that even with a quality glove costing £50 her fingers burst out of the ends after a year.

So I looked around and ordered a pair off these people: http://www.chesterjefferies.co.uk/scripts/default.asp

Unfortunately you spoil the secret because you've got to send in outlines of the hands and measurements. Got a pair of Paris dress gloves in dark brown with an extra long cuff, which they were happy to do. Total cost? £38.00 and one very satisfied Mrs RR. They do look very elegant and sexy on, I'm wondering if she might wear them to bed tonight and gently thrape me into a stupour with them....

Bespoke is great.
When I got married in 1993 I had a bespoke pair of boots made to go with her wedding dress. We thought about ivory silk to match the wedding dress but decided to go with red velvet to match the bridesmaids dress as they would be more wearable afterwards then ivory. She still has them now and they are still used.

Being a person blessed with a gentle and sensitive nature, I blush as I confess that thrape was a new word to me.

So I googled it.

Then I really blushed. ;)

The dictionary definition was rather personalised!
