I was inspired by whitebaits mounted helmet camera: https://www.cyclechat.net/ , so had a go myself, credit to dad and it turned out ok .

What do you think?, does it need to angle up more?.

I have given up trying to mount mine on my helmet. Depending wether I am riding my road bike or my hybrid I either get excellent video of the sky or the road 3 feet in front of the bike. I am now working on a decent handlebar mount.

The only way you will know if it is positioned correctly is to go out and ride with it on, then check the footage when you get home.

The only problem i see is the use of cable ties. What will happen to the camera when you are involved in a crash? If that is too secure then the camera might crumple into the helmet and cause damage.

Velcro straps mate, not cable ties, you don't want it pivoting down through a vent and hitting your noggin If you come off - or hit a branch if you fancy a bit of MTB'ing.
