As recommended by the fine people on this site i went to corridori to get a allez 27 09, arrived there and asked bout the allez 09 and they said that speshalized had completely run out... *sob*.. but i ended out walking away with a spesh sport 2010 compact which is the sameish as the allez 09 just with shimano sora brakes and i think a better rear mesh... all for 580:smile: got home, fitted my clipless look pedals which were given to me and i was told they were mae in the 1980's, but i gotta start somewhere, went for a uick 10 mile ride, no falls:smile: really quite pleasd with it. a good recommendation towards corridori in espom surrey. also thanks to all the people on this site who answered countless threads about what bike is better:smile: i got there in the end.
just a quick little question, for maintence of my bike i got some chain lube but what should i really be doing after each ride and what products should i be using? thanks very much

Nice one mate!

Have a search for mickle method on this site, its dead easy and won't go wrong with that!

I'd only clean the chain and mechs after a mucky ride otherwise they will be fine.

It's advisable to check the wheels after the first 3 - 4 trips and make sure that they are still true as the spokes can loosen themselves a tad. Ditto the brake clearance.

Otherwise it's a matter of checking the tyre pressures ( I use my thumb) on a regular basis and getting some decent pedals.

if you cant clean it with a dry or damp cloth, use a little white spirit or if you have some degreaser.. that'll shift it
