cycling down the thames path yesterday on my bi-sunday pottle, i noticed that someone was behind me when i had to slow down for mr & mrs car driver full susser mtb rider doing about 6 mph 2 a breast and wobbling all over the place, zipped past them and cranked it up to 18 mph, the rider was gone so slowed to 16 mph and happily taking the view all in and a quick glance
and the rider was right on my bum she stayed there for a about 2 miles and i just slowed right down and then she passed [must have been feed up with me going down to 12 mph] I then pounced and drafted her all the way to hampton court, freewheeling most of the time, I loved it as she was picking the way thru the peds could have retaken my scalp anytime but who cares i'm 50+ and not in the scalping game, must do it again [perhaps to a roadie
]
