My first accident

Had my first off this morning, coming round a roundabout and hit some grease and the bike went.
Few cuts and bruises , possible broken finger but the bike hasn't faired well . Hanger snapped and no doubtt more damage other than scrapes.
Luckily no cars around so just my pride and confidence taken a beating.(as well as my body)

Thanks all, bit of a shock as it's my first accident but all good.
Not looking forward to the repair bill but I'm ok that's the main thing.
Need to get it fixed soon so I can get out again to get some confidence back.

Definitely.
I had an off on the MTB when I was on holiday in June...a few nice bruises but I was more shocked than anything as I hadn't had one for years!
Hope the bike doesn't cost too much to repair

Get that finger X-rayed. And get them to clean up the other nicks and cuts clean up at the same time.

The derailleur hanger has done it's job, and saved your frame. Now you just have to source a replacement.

Bad luck Sniffer but it seems you are too badly hurt so you should be OK in a couple of days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
