So I had the idea of swapping my 11-32 cassette on my hybrid with a 11-25. I've been testing the gearing this week and I've come to the conclusion it was a stroke of genius!

I can get up any hill here in 34x25 on my road bike. The small ring on my hybrid is 28t and 28x25 is easy. I find I'm actually using the small ring a lot more now and spreading the load across the whole cassette and all 3 chain rings. I'm keeping this set up.

It'd give you much 'tighter' gear ratios as well

Yes, definitely. No more changing up from the 32t sprocket to the 28t and slowing down!
