I had that problem - either something on your pc or at the CC server is taking a short cut and remembering the wrong image.

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago when I changed to Monsieur Bibendum, I kept seeing my old one for a while, but it settled down after 24 hours or so.

which changed to sponge bob immediately I posted this ... I assume to do with Admins Caching stuff that he was mumbling about the other day....

Yup, reduced it to 24 hours, but as everyone's cached items expire at different times, it will refresh for different people throughout that time period.

Once it has expired in your browser cache an "update" will be requested from the CC server, and that's when the new one will appear.

You can shortcut it by forcing your browser to fetch a fresh copy of everything from the server using CTRL+R (IE) or SHIFT+CTRL+R (Firefox).
