That's a Giant's own brand mudguard, innit ?

Looks good but...

Had two of those snap at the bridge and the last one got sucked up under the brake caliper causing mechanical catastrophe.

Keep an eye on the rivet locations for cracks and avoid rough tarmac.

They self destruct over time, i''ve been through two sets. I managed to find this lonely rear guard on Ebay but without any fittings and in silver!!!. Got it for not much money and it looks good. I agree with the issues though - rivets shaking loose, cracks on guard across the brackets etc etc. They need a re-design, perhaps a softer plastic, or less rigid joints. I dunno.
