At last I managed to mount the cam with the mount from the sports pack. When I tried it out today, not only did it cut out at 30 mins bang on but I got more shots of the sky. I've located it at the front lower edge of my helmet and it's loaded with a 2gb micro sd card.

I have an 8 gb maybe I should put that in but surely I should have got more than 30 mins with the 2gb?

I have a 2gb card in mine. It will record for around one and half hours, but it seems to do it in 30mins bites.

TJ, it will only record for 30 minutes, that's as big as the files it can manage. If you want it to go on longer than that, set it to vox recording and it'll start again fairly quickly.

My Muvi records for longer than 30 minutes, but as a series of individual files each of about 30 minutes. One files ends and the next one carries on from where it ended. That's just in ordinary 'power on' mode, not 'vox' mode. However, I've had mine about a year now and the battery only lasts for about 50 minutes, whereas when new it was about 90 minutes.

Should be no need to set it on vox. I just switch on the power and press record.
