There's somebody on the local Facebook buy and sell page selling what looks to me to be a cheap '80s single speed roadster painted in luminous green and fitted with drop handlebars with the rims, chainset and brake callipers painted yellow. :stop:

It's a rare singlespeed racing bike apparently. No price given.

I'm sure it is rare. I doubt there could be anything else as hideous in existence.

It could be much more recent, I vaguely remember a company selling single speeds a few years ago which were steel, garish and priced at the cheap end of the market, but I can't remember the name.

Was that Transatlantic Sessions and then the programme about Mexican Music? The Sessions were brilliant, and the the Mexican one was even more brilliant.

I usually switch the television off at 11pm, but that was a worthy exception.
I started to watch the Transatlantic Sessions, but put it on mute while I went into a YouTube rabbit hole as a result of the 'Friday night is...' music thread on here.
The programmes that held my attention were Southern Rock at the BBC (more facial hair than at a hipsters' convention) and Wayfaring Stranger. Neither is normally my sort of thing, but Southern Rock started with Sweet Home Alabama which is always a good thing and I have a soft spot for Bluegrass music and I could hear elements of it in the music on Wayfaring Stranger so I may be watching the other episodes later this week.

Time for a :cuppa: and MOTD

I predict Frank looking hounded.

Yep it was a pile of cash alright, we only paid £2.6m for Wout the Dutch Giant, and £420k for Garnacho, bargain!

It's a right old wodge to pay for potential, as it's something of a gamble... We were guilty of it with Nicolas Pepe, I think you lot were guilty over it with Martial. But Chelsea have taken that to a whole new level I think...

Time will tell, I suppose.

I'm hoping Trossard will be a good buy.
