What are the options for making rear wheel removal as painless as possible?

Was set on full guards on my future purchase but am now wondering if this is the best way to go.
Maybe clip-on guards like the sks Raceblades would be a better alternative?

Any other tips/hints?

MTb clip on works good enough for me.

You are thinking about issues with track ends and insufficient space to pull the wheel out? Some use the safety mounts from front mudguards so they can pop the stays out.
That sounds like a good option, so you pull the main guard off from the stays and just pop them back on when you're ready to go?

Secu Clips front and rear. Have had them on since day one on my fixed. Also proper chromoplastic guards.

I need to get some more rear ones as my current ones pop out over big pot holes !

PS If coming over to the dark side, poncy single speed isn't allowed. FIXED ONLY. ^_^

Have asked them to fit the chromo guards, will get them to fit the clips if they weren't going to anyway.

You know my commute route, will be hard enough single speed

There is a technique to fitting a rear wheel and getting the chain just right. You 'walk' the axel back, tighten the nut, then align the wheel. You'll soon get it. Secu Clips just let you get the wheel out easier.

Nice !!! Right colour too ^_^

Deffo go fixed, it really isn't that bad. It's great for training as you can't freewheel. It doesn't half build up tendon strength as well (certainly solved a weak hamstring anchor point I had).
