Mudflaps

Its a bit late to start worrying as my first club ride is tomorrow morning but with the rain and what not I have been thinking is it expected etiquette to sport mud guards during group rides? Thoughts please.

Depends who you are riding with.
Not everyone uses mudguards and most of those who do, won't have decent mudflaps.

Don't worry about it for tomorrow, and just ask them when you meet up so you know in future.

Muds flaps didn't figure and the ride and company were a blast... Am tired now I might have a little sleep after tea!!
