muddyfox rock n roll rage - how much was it new?

Hi as the topic says - i would love to know how much this bike retailed for - their phone helpline won't tell me because they want me to buy a new muddyfox bike i assume

I realize it is a pretty old bike but god it is a really fun ride!!!

I can say what i paid £120 plus £120 for a service from a charity shop and bike shop respectively

I just wanted to know if i have hit on a real bargain here or is it just any old bike??

If anyone knows or bought one new i'd love to hear from you?

Hello and welcome.

I don't know the bike but there are some reviews here. £120 for a service is a lot, presumably they replaced a few parts as well? I wouldn't worry too much if you've got a bargain or not, the key part of your post is that it is a really fun ride. That's all you need to get you going.

Thanks - found that link helpful - think it would retail now at over £1000 if it was new which is nice to know - maybe even £1300 tops - makes me pretty happy to find a bargain in a charity shop because i have always been looking for 'THAT DRESS' but never found it lol found a bike instead!

I've got the rock n roll pro which i bought for £100 about 6 years ago which my mate had paid £800 still rides well and pretty light for a fairly chunky bike.!

still £800 in when? 2002 or anything would make it about a thousand now

cool - hope you like the bike as well!!!

I don't know what a new £1000 bike feels like but this feels as good to me!
