Mixture of car shampoo and that Fenwicks (FS1?) bike wash concentrate.

I use the shampoo (or sometimes washing up liquid if I run out) to clean muddy bikes and the Fenwicks stuff for the greasy crap that gets on my commuter bike.

I use fenwick, its great for dislodging dried dirt as well as grease/oil marks. and when money's tigh... cheap hair shampoo...but never washing up liquid, it contains high levels of salt.

It has a little salt. I use 10-15ml of Fairy in 5-10 litres of water. Doesn't require a Degree in Chemistry to know that it's not exactly the Dead Sea in there.

Don't you rinse the soapy water off anyway?
