Anyone had any issues with C3 Ceramic wet Lube

I'm really OCD on cleaning my chain/cassette every week

I use Fenwick s foaming degreaser, clean it off,dry everything and then lube the chain with C3

I've noticed recently a build up every week which is like a rubbery substance on the chain which is also sticky and slowing the movement of the chain down.

Again, clean it off, same process as above and again the rubbery substance re-appears

I'm baffled as to why this is happening

most grateful to any pointers

Wet lube is shat because of this.

The end.

Blunt, but all the wet lube I've ever used does the same.

Just make sure that you re-lube after every wet ride, or at the very least spray GT85/WD40 over it.

I'm sure some will disagree with me but wet lube really pished me off, scraping the sh1te off the all the drive chain components.

I use wet lube in a spray can but using a straw I only oil inbetween the links and I only clean it every 2-300 miles if that!

I dont use wd40 or gt85 on my chain as its a sovent/thinner and will just thin the oil thats already on the chain but I do use gt85 on the cassette and other components to clean and stop them rusting.
Got 5000 n 3000( only changed due to new cassette 8000 miles on that ) out my last two summer use chains and currently did over 2000 miles on my winter bikes chain so I must be doing something right.

I have no experience of the Muc Off lube in the title but the cleaning and lubing regime for my bikes is Car Pride 151 engine degreaser in aerosol can. Brilliant. You must wear double nitrile gloves though. Then rinse and dry chain, cassette, etc. Then when dry use Finish Line Pro Road Ceramic lube.

Both bike chains/cassettes now degreased (again!) cleaned and re-lubed with Fenwicks Stealth Lube

Dry Ceramic wax for me. Wet lube is Satan's Jizzm.

Fortunately I have no experience of Satan's Jizzm ^_^

When I went into my LBS today and explained my dilemma he said it was a big no no using wet lube on a road bike and it's intended for use on mountain bikes
