MTB tyres.......

hey there im going to be changing my tyres down from 2.3 to 1.9 but not sure what tyre would be best. lookin for something that can do better on the road than my current tyres but can hadle the bumps/off road too! was looking at semi slick but not sure if they would be sturdy enough for the bumps or maybe a set of fast rollers??
not sure but currently have conninental speed kings and they are way too chunky/grippy! cheers

Slicks or semi slicks would be fine. I use use them on my road bikes and are more than capable to handle the rough tracks down here.

I'm thinking of getting a set of Continental Traffics. Supposedly faster rolling on road but not useless off-road.

hey thanks for ur input guys.......i settled on schwalbe land cruiser and they really make a difference!!! theres a little strip in the middle of the tread that when on the flats almost makes it like a road bike with very little contact but with outer treads on the turns that keep it stuck to the road when u need it.....i'd suggest these tyres to anyone who is looking for a change and even though they are still around 1.9/2.0 with the strip in the middle they certainly feel more like 1.5!!!
