MTB cassette and rear mech with road triple

Before I do this, would there be any problems with this combination?

My current 52/42/30 triple chainset
A new 11-32 cassette with suitable rear mech

Obviously, I know this will require a longer chain than I have at present.

I'm loving the low gears on my MTB at the moment (although not loving the lack of high gears so much), so I'm hoping this combination might work on my new bike.

Fine. Long cage mech, like Deore

As long as your bike isn't 10sp on the back then it should be fine Shimano mtb and road rear mechs both have the same cable pull.
