I asked Supernova, I asked SJS, what parts I need to mount an airstream on the front brake bolt of my road bike. Both replied to the effect that you'd need part X and part Y but they hadn't tried it and could not guarantee it would all fit (X and Y being designed for their dyno lights) what with the Airstream being a long(ish) lamp.
Fair enough I thought, I'll have a punt, I'll give it a go, Nothing ventured nothing gained et cetera.
Bought X and Y from SJS. Lo and behold, on the back of X is a sticker, put there by the manufacturer, which clearly states "Do not use with Airstream it is too heavy"
For flips sake...
