Mounting a carrier (oo-er missus!)

At the chain stays mounts, should it go: frame > mudguard stays > carrier or: frame > carrier > mudguard stays?

Any other advice or tips will be warmly welcomed!

At a guess I'd say frame - carrier - mudguard, possibly a tiny bit less bending force on the bolts if you're going to put any real weight on the carrier, but I may be wrong.

Mine goes - frame-guards-rack, no idea if this is right though, doesn't seem to be causing any problems Mike

Ideally they should be on separate bolts, but if thy have to share, the rack should be nearest the bike, then mudguard stay. always use washers too.

I put a small plate with 2 holes (think meccano) between rack and frame, then bolted the guards to the second hole.
