Mine's a B'Twin Rockrider 5.2 from Decathlon €300 here so probably cheaper in UK.
Ok it ain't the dogs cojones but better than a lot of others I've see.
Certainly worth taking a look at, in my opinion.

i have a rockrider 8.1 and it cost £499 . best bike i have ever owned.
light, agile. comfy to ride on the road

I'm really pleased to see the positive comments regarding the Decathlon Rockrider. We don't have a lot of choice over here, there are cycle shops but they tend to have less choice than Decathlon and are more expensive.
I sometimes read on here how much peeps spent on their bikes, but for €300 (about £240) I reckon I got a good bike for the money.
I enjoy it anyway.
Just be glad when I can get out on it again regularly. We don't have the cold and snow, but we've had a LOT of rain, and now everywhere is wet and filthy.
