FFS what a day!!
Does this explain Mosquera's sudden appearance as a GT contender and his performance in the TT?
Disappointed.

It was the "mainly concentrates on Spanish and Portuguese road races" comments that Harmon and Co often dropped into the Eurosport coverage which had me wondering...............and not terribly that surprised by the news

So disappointing. I'm more disappointed about this than Contador. My girlfriend is from Galicia and we took quite a liking to the team and the rider this Vuelta, I was so backing him for victory. Sadly this is so often how the sport repays you for your support. Funny, I always thought he looked like he had quite a laboured climbing style, he's obviously a very good actor.

Guess we'll have to wait and see what he says, as with Garcia, Ricco and all the rest of them!.

Contador is a funny one. In a way, it'd be almost a relief to know that it is, after all, unnatural to be that dominant, that breathtakingly good. On the other hand, if it is unnatural, then who the f*ck is there to look up to and aspire to! I think I'd rather his class was genuine, as with Spartacus. My, if Spartacus was found to be doping I would literally give up on Pro Cycling.
