Lesser known or 'forgotten' cycling terminology.

Arsewipe – losing the rear wheel on a slippy surface.

Balls out – Riding so energetically, your eyeballs might pop out.

Bidon – Water bottle.

Block – Screw on multi sprocket freewheel.

Cluster – Bespoke gear block, self build or ordered at LBS.

Honking – standing up on the pedals for a few revs to climb a short hill, without changing down gear. From the days of fiddly friction downtube levers.

Lachete – Afraid to take your time on the front.

Spider – Right hand crank.

Any more?

None to add, but "Balls Out", "Block", "Honking" and "Spider" are still in my Dad's cycling vocabulary! He started out in the early 60s and to him anything but a woolen jersey, shorts, white socks and black cycling shoes are mere affectations.

Reminds me of my early cycling days ... it always amuses me when people express horror at the thought of having SPDs - they should have tried getting their feet off the pedals when you had to reach down and undo the toestrap ratchets first!

Kerb dozing - Riding at the back of a group thinking about a cup of coffee ( for example ) and you suddenly realise the group has gone up the road.

Hole shot - Going off quick in a sprint race, leaving you opponent wondering what happened, and he never catches you.
