Hi

Does anyone know what this bike is? I am considering buying it for my daughter, I am waiting from some answers off the seller but thought someone may know. Apparently the wheels are worth £100 and the front and back discs are the wrong way round?

The photographs don't reveal very much! That rotor looks too big, both for the front and rear. 160mm is enough really for either end.

Bit more info and somebody here would be able to help.

The larger rotor should be on the front, as thats where the majority of braking is done.

More info on the wheels would help!

I know I'm not much help and all the guy selling it says is that the only markings for the bike are Mongoose Pro Cycles, so I don't even know what model it is. But for £120 its probably worth it as a run around bike for my daughter. I take it swapping the rotors round or fixing new ones is a fairly simple job?

Off to see it tonight anyway, so may post more info on here later for some further advice.

Not much to report, the bike has been painted, so no sign of what it was, the wheels hubs had a scott sticker on. It seemed light enough and the gear change was smooth, few bolts rusty but easily changed. For the price and for what my daughter wants it probably worth it.
