No, too busy to use one. I have one for emergencies only. If you've got time to muck about with these new fangled phones you have far too much time on your hands. ;)

The only mobile phones I've owned over the years have been other people's cast-offs when they've upgraded their own.

Blood 'ell - the one I have now even has a camera on it!

I look forward to receiving one of today's top models in +5 years' time.

Nope - basic SE K770i takes photos if needed, slips in my back pocket for on the bike. Used to have a smart phone (well still have) but couldn't be arsed with it's size - my current phone is dinky.

So, enjoy your brick sized N96

Got a W810i which is perfick for listening to music with a 4gb card. Phone obviously has rubbish internet but I only use wi-fi when out and about rarely so it doesn't bother me.

Yes, I know I'm sad but having just taken delivery of my new super swank Nokia N96 I would be interested in knowing if anyone has a posher phone than me.

I've heard the even posher Nokia N97 is coming out next week. People will be sniggering at your N96 behind your back then and you'll quickly become a social outcast.

N93: I use it all the time for;
internet, email, taking photos (3.2 megapixel), as music player (2gig card in), youtube videoplayer (not seamless, I download them and copy to phone), radio, calculator, converter, reads word docs, powerpoint, excel, pdfs, compass, er loads more ... and occasionally I make telephone calls on it! ;)
I use it a lot, and love having it :biggrin:

Mine's not posh - it's a K610i that I got off ebay, new, for £21, and I hardly ever use it, but I have to say I do like always having 'a camera' to hand - the quality's plenty good enough to take pics of the kids to send to reli's.

Mine is a works brick phone which I used to use a lot when I did Service Desk type stuff. I just kept it when I moved to a new post within the same part of the organisation. I don't use it all that much so don't get any grief from my Boss about having it still.

I am thinking of a small upgrade to a camera phone be able to take piccies of accidents/muppets, but don't want to use it as a primary camera as I have my D-SLR for that, so vast megapixellage (??) is not a massive concern.

Just had an upgrade as well. Sent the SE 980 back as although its got 8gb its as flimsy as a flimsy thing. Caught a guy who knew what he was talking about at O2 and had a SE C702 on his recommendation a bit bigger than the 890 it replaces has lovely warm sound through headphones half decent camera and gps with tracker. I am happy not had a Nolkia for years bit bricky these days.

I am also a hand me down receiver. My current phone is a Sony Ericsson something. It was brand new when I got it a couple of years ago, as my brother could get a car kit for it, so was no use to him.
He couldn't be bothered to send it back, so I took it off his hands.
May not have all the fancy features, but is small and built like a brick sh&*house. Which is very important as I alsways drop it.

A few work colleagues have got the new iTouchy phoney thingy (see I know all the technical terms) and they showed my some of the great features like.....a light saber sound and a cow bell sound....Why?????
