I'm after a 5G mobile hotspot router flim flam for the campervan. It'll need to be either 12v or USB powered.

Do any of you good folk, or Accy, have any experience of such a doobrey that you could recommend one?

SIM free or would you be looking at starting a new contract?

Mrs D will sort out the SIM side, so SIM free.

I use my phone's WIFI sharing, simple, no extra gadgets. Watched movies on the laptop using the phone's sharing.

Mrs D's mobile is provided by work so I can't spank her data (I can spank her when shes been a naughty girl though )

5G, or TP M7000 4G.

Currently using the second one with no issues apart from when the signal drops. Check coverage before parting with your cash.
