MJ-818 rear light owners...

Does anyone have any idea how you open the thing?

I had mine mounted without the mount (held on by a screw) and ive worn through the wiring and its shorting - I can put a new wire on (and better gromit) if I had any idea of how to open the bugger!

I've asked DX, ive asked the forum, ive asked MTBr - no luck.

Though i've just had an idea - strip the wire back and put some heat wire the whole way down to cover it and rebuild :/

I screwed mine into a reflector bracket. No issues

my wire was wedged between the body and the saddle bag, and the movement rubbed through!

It's now attatched to the beam rack with its usual mount, with the hope it does't short and totally die
